Movvo hires award winning retail heavyweight to boost customer experience
Movvo, the movement intelligence expert, has appointed Alexandra Petit as its Customer Experience Officer. Petit, who has over 15 years senior experience in analysing and advising retail consumer brands and landlords will be tasked with helping owners of commercial spaces understand their customers’ behaviour and turning this insight into actions and profits.
Petit has in-depth knowledge of both the UK and European retail and property sector from the decade she spent at FTSE 100 listed retail destination owner Hammerson, including three years as Group Head of Consumer Insight. This included advising on customer proposition, marketing strategy and sales growth.
As a member of the European Research Group – part of the International Council of Shopping Centres (ICSC) – Petit is a renowned industry figure, taking the vice-chair of the ICSC ERG in April. Her research experience was recognised in 2015 when she was awarded the prestigious ICSC Gold Medallion.

Petit is the latest big name hire for the following the appointment of Yannick Kennel who joined as General Manager, Asia Pacific in November. It is also a key part of the company’s continue expansion which recently saw it move its HQ to London.
